A few pictures from the Fur Rendevous held in Anchorage last weekend. It was fun seeing the start of the 25-mile sled sprint (each team with about 16 dogs), the dog pull and snow sculpture. This is the first weekend and the following weekend is the ceremonial start of the Iditarod. We fit in nicely with our Russian fur hats.
