Our Alaska Adventures Begin

Here are a few shots I took when we came on our house hunting trip in November. Also, there is a picture of our house in Eagle River. You can see how close the houses are, but we are very comfortable here. The weather has been better in Alaska than in Driggs, but the humidity is higher so it feels colder sometimes. The wind hasn't blown much. We did have an all-day snow storm that made the roads treacherous. We have studded tires because the roads get icy almost without warning. You can't believe how many cars I have seen off the road or sitting upside down on their roof.
